8 Days Explore Center and Southern of Laos

Morning: Explore key sights such as Pha That Luang (the Great Stupa), Patuxai (Victory Gate), and the COPE Visitor Centre, Former Emerald Buddha. Afternoon: Lunch and after go to visit Buddha Park. Evening: Stroll along the Mekong River nightmarket, enjoy dinner at a riverside restaurant.

Morning: Depart early from Vientiane to Konglor Cave. The drive is about 5-6hours. Afternoon: Arrive at Konglor Cave, known for its impressive limestone formations and underground river. Take a boat tour through the water cave 7 kilometers round-trip 14 Kilometers. Evening: Overnight in Konglor village or nearby accommodation.

Morning: Drive from Konglor to Thakhek, which should take about 2-3 hours. Afternoon: Explore Thakhek, visit the Thakhek Buddha Cave, and enjoy a leisurely stroll through the town. Evening: Relax and explore local dining options.

Morning: Start your drive to Pakse, which is approximately a 4-5 hour journey. Afternoon: Arrive in Pakse, check into your hotel, and start exploring the town and visit the Viewpoint Buddhist temple for sunset. Evening: Visit the Pakse Night Market for dinner and local snacks.

• Morning: Head to the Bolaven Plateau, famous for its coffee plantations and waterfalls. The drive will take around 1-2 hours.
• Afternoon: Visit waterfalls such as Tad Fane, Tad Yuang, and Tad Lo. Enjoy a tour of a coffee plantation.
• Evening: Return to Pakse or stay overnight in Pakse.

Head to 4000 Islands (Don Det/Don Khon)Travel to the 4000 Islands (Si Phan Don). The journey involves a drive of about 2 hours to Nakasang and then a boat trip to Don Det or Don Khon. The falls are especially impressive during the rainy season. Lunch on Don Det or Don Khon: Return to either island and enjoy lunch at a local eatery. Try some Lao specialties like Larb (spicy minced meat salad) or Khao Poon (spicy noodle soup). Explore the Islands:Relax and Swim: Find a nice spot by the river or a beach area where you can relax and take a swim.
